Brisbane’s Raw Dance Company and Sydney’s Legs On The Wall have joined forces to create Beautiful Noise – a stylised aerodynamic performance commissioned by Brisbane Festival. Beautiful Noise celebrates the intricate relationship between sound and the potential of the human body.
At the Brisbane Festival amphitheatre in September 2011, a world-premeire production took place that had audiences on the edge of their seats. Fearless performers scaled the walls of Brisbane Powerhouse, whilst aerialists draw all eyes up to the night sky, rhythm masters of tap set the beat, while hip-hop artists smash the stage.
With energised tempos, spectacular jumps and a rhythm of tap like you have never seen before, a conversation of movement and sound between the performers fill the space from the floor, up the walls, to the sky.
